Harbor & Swinford, SW corner, painted by Miki Yokoyama

,

Through my art, I aim to express the wonder, beauty, freedom, and transience of life to audiences. With detailed lines, shapes, and intermingling life forms, I try to share my vision of life as an interconnected experience. I have worked in a variety of media including canvas, murals, sculpture, and body painting.   I choose to work in black and white because of the purity of their binary interplay. Just as the interaction of silence and sound create music, and as strings of zeroes and ones create programming code, black and white are what give shape to my vision of the reality.
